Products & Services

The unique geography and climate of the Camas Prairie allow us to raise a wide variety of crops that go on to produce everything from bread and noodles to craft beer and hummus!

We offer a variety of finished malt products as well as cleaned and processed raw grains for end users.

Additionally, we provide agricultural services to farmland owners that include custom farming operations as well as lease or purchase arrangements.

Conservation

All of our crops are grown in a direct seed, no-till/minimum till system, which leaves the soil undisturbed and maintains a protective cover of plant residue, thereby minimizing soil erosion and sediment loss to surrounding watersheds.

Clearwater Farms is also a certified and accredited Salmon-Safe farm. A leading U.S. ecolabel, Salmon-Safe independently verifies farms for environmental practices that protect water quality and habitat.

The history of our Farm dates back to 1895 when German immigrant Fredrich Riggers homesteaded on 160 acres of land three miles west of Nezperce, Idaho.

Today Nathan & Christine, along with their son and his spouse, Christopher & Natalie, own and manage the Riggers family farm, now known as Clearwater Farms.
